While it's been a challenge the last few years to run the hockey program to it's fullest, I wouldn't keep fighting for it if I hadn't had some of the most life-changing moments with the kids on the ice. Here are a few of my favorite memories.

@chrisronayne @SIHSCleveland Our other goalie alum is starting for LHS and by all measures is having a stand out season. Luckily the kids can take all of the credit since we never once had a dedicated goalie coach 😁.

For 15 years, the Halloran Huskies hockey team allowed kids to play hockey for free, thanks to volunteers and fundraising. Now, amid tension between city employees and would-be volunteers, Halloran Ice Rink has no hockey team and few skating programs.

I am so very thankful to @leechilcote for the excellent reporting he did for @LandofCLE and all of the support I've gotten from parents, coaches, fellow hockey nuts and the community. I am ready to move ahead from the challenges outlined in the article and do what we do best.
