I don’t think a lot of sellers and their agents realize why their properties are sitting for months on end.
You’re not going to be able to find a buyer to take out a loan because the property would then have negative cash flow, or pay with cash because the return is >10%
@leo_szac That’s something I have to remind myself starting out with real estate. I want to jump on every opportunity but I have to take a step back and make sure it’s worth going after.
Another lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t be afraid of rejection. Make the phone call.
After listening to people’s stories, I realized how one phone call can change the trajectory of your entire life.
Sometimes I need to remind myself that I can’t keep comparing my situation to those who have been doing real estate for years.
I’m just starting out and the only direction I can go is up.
@ChrisRamsey60 One thing that I have learned so far is that you have to take risk and push yourself in order to grow and succeed. You can’t be afraid of success.
@NickMaccini Majority of aspiring wholesalers can’t tell a good deal from a bad one and they will rush to get anything signed under contract.
Or they will act like they have the deal of a lifetime secured but in reality they haven’t even made a call yet.
I’m learning quick that one of the most important parts of real estate is your network.
I still have a long way to go but I am working on laying the foundation.
