Hanan Abu Tayyem (@tayyemhanan), who is newly verified, is a 31-year-old married mother from Rafah now displaced with her husband and their two young children, Nour (6) and Majdi (4), in a tent on a rented plot in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis that costs 200 dollars per month. The family has been displaced more than six times after their home in Tel al Sultan was destroyed when an entire city block was bombed at night while they were asleep. They were trapped under the rubble for hours before being rescued, while many others in the area did not survive. Since then, they have lost everything and are living in harsh conditions with limited access to food, clean water, and basic necessities, all while facing severe malnutrition.
