This is what sports gambling has given us: a player suffers a genuinely scary injury and the sports press is out here saying it needs to be handled in a way to PROTECT GAMBLERS
Genuine scum: The NFL, sports media, the gambling houses enable/encourage this behavior
BREAKING: LeBron James is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, Klutch Sports Group and Klutch CEO and Game Over show host Rich Paul tells ESPN.
I thought I was done when the season ended. I wasn't ready to announce it, and I knew I needed some time to really decide, but I was pretty sure I played my last game. I was honest at that last press conference when I said I needed to look at myself and deicide if I still love
Reminder: If one Philly fan throws a snowball it’s an indictment on an entire city for the next 50 years. If Knicks fans act unhinged for an entire playoff run we’re told not to generalize. Got it🙄🙄

I’ll never understand why a grown adult cares about the sexual preference of another grown adult.
Stop letting religion be an excuse you for you being a piece of shit
Letting a book tell you how you should feel & think is much weirder than being gay btw lmao
The Bible spends far more time on poverty, greed, and personal conduct than it does on homosexuality. Yet some people center everything on that one topic because punching down on marginalized people doesn't take courage. It's actually cowardice.
Former Seahawks Pro-Bowl CB Riq Woolen reached agreement today on a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the Philadelphia Eagles, per me and Jeremy Fowler. Agent Jason Chayut confirmed the deal.
Okay, let’s break down this over-dramatized deflection attempt point by point.
1. Internal hype from your friends is not proof of anything.
Every failed project in history had an inner circle saying it was lightning in a bottle. When the only people telling you it is amazing are the ones already invested in it succeeding, that is living in an echo chamber, not validation.
2. A trailer exists to be judged.
That is literally its purpose. If people watch it and decide they are not interested, that is not slander, that is marketing meeting reality. Consumers are allowed to look at a product and say no thanks. We do not owe applause for effort because a team worked hard. This is game sales, not kindergarten art hour.
3. Personal harassment is bad.
Some people go too far, and it is disgusting behavior that should be called out every time. But pretending every piece of criticism about the actual game falls into that same category is dishonest. In reality it is a fringe minority going too far, not the majority, and acting otherwise is disingenuous.
4. “Review bombing” is not a universal excuse.
Yes, brigading exists and some people absolutely dogpile. It is also true that people boot up a game, feel no hook in the first twenty minutes, and leave a negative review because they simply did not enjoy it. This is not a new phenomenon, so stop pretending your case is special.
5. Being indie does not entitle anyone to success.
“Passion project,” “no AI,” and “no corporate meddling” are not selling points. Players buy games because they are fun, not because the developers suffered nobly while making them. If your game performed poorly, the question should be why it missed the audience, not why you feel it deserved to succeed. Your feelings are not market reality.
6. You are absolutely blaming gamers.
Saying you are “not blaming gamers” while spending paragraphs blaming gamers is still blaming gamers. Softer wording does not change the intention.
At the end of the day, this entire article reads like an over-dramatic deflection from a simple but painful truth: people did not like your game, and you could not handle that. Learn from it, improve, and move on. If you cannot accept reality, blaming everyone else will not fix anything.
