@jetsorioles One of the reasons we’ve gone defensive is the availability of actually talent offensive coaches that want the job.
It’s easier to find a defensive mind than an offensive guru and even then, some of them are just better as player callers
@Connor_J_Hughes Looking at simple statistics like that don’t give you the whole story. Lions players took large leaps on defense with him even with an injury battered team. His leadership and mentoring were highly sought after. He was given poop and we expected him to turn it to gold
@Michael_Nania I mean he’s a good coach but over the past two years he’s had considerably better rosters than the jets and his teams have underperformed and picked in top 5…
@tonypayments Istefanksi isn’t bad but firing a coach who won 3 games to hire a coach who won 4 games this year and 3 last year? He’s been 31st and 32 in pts last 2 years?
Let Glenn build something. I only fire him if you get a blue chip coach like Payton, Harbaugh
@tonypayments Wether you pick 5 or 12 it’s about picking competent player and with colts losing we have ammo to move back up if needed.
I prefer wins and a competent staff because who ever we put in much of their success will be dependent on the staff
@NYJetsTFMedia Looks better than with fields, he’s getting ball out quicker but has missed a couple throws. He’s coming in cold but offense looks better than with fields
@NYJetsTFMedia It’s going to sound absurd but stay patient, impulsively firing hc is how we got here in the first place. This ship will get turned around but it’s gonna take time, lions were in a similar spot a few years ago
