I think my focus will be con corporate financing, capital market debt issuance, a little bit of
"She stole from me and did a bunch of weird things like forging my signature. She sued me for $2M, and she lost the case because I was under 18. She took down "Pepper Me." I worked with my team to prove it's an illegal takedown. They went through the corners again to take down the project" — Qing Madi on her fallout with former label boss.

I did. It was the bravest thing I have ever done. Two months later, I applied for a new job which I resumed three days later. I resigned after two weeks and freelanced for another one year. The process birthed @Irisattorneyslp . I resigned without a Job and ended up creating more jobs.
You don’t have to remain somewhere just because you want to have a “job”. I agree, it doesn’t work for everyone but sometimes, it’s better to take a step back and review your options.
There’s this lawyer who is a professional brief holder. All the times I’ve met him in court, he has always held someone’s brief. The next time I meet him, I’ll employ him.

Subject: Urgent Call for Condemnation of Conduct Mocking the Legal Profession
The legal profession is universally recognized as a noble calling, built upon centuries of solemn traditions, dignified attire, and an unwavering commitment to justice. These traditions are not mere formalities; they embody the discipline, respect, and integrity that distinguish the practice of law from ordinary pursuits. To trivialize or mock them is to erode the very foundation upon which public trust in the legal system rests.
Recent actions by this fellow and his cohorts, who have chosen to ridicule the profession’s attire and solemn practices, represent a direct affront to the dignity of the Bar. Such behavior is not harmless entertainment; it undermines the sanctity of the courts and diminishes the reverence accorded to the legal profession.
If left unchecked, it risks emboldening others to masquerade as advocates, offering unsolicited and unauthorized legal services, thereby misleading the public and bringing disrepute to the profession.
The Nigerian Bar Association, as the custodian of professional ethics and standards, must rise to this challenge. Silence in the face of such ridicule would be tantamount to complicity.
The NBA is duty-bound to issue a strong and unequivocal condemnation, making it clear that the profession will not tolerate any attempt to cheapen its image or distort its solemn practices.
By taking decisive action, the NBA will:
Reaffirm the sanctity of the legal profession.
Protect its traditions from desecration.
Safeguard the public from being misled by unauthorized individuals.
Send a clear message that the practice of law is reserved for those who have earned the right to wear its robes with honor.
The time to act is now. The NBA must not allow the noble profession to be dragged into ridicule. A firm and public stance will preserve the dignity of the Bar and ensure that its traditions remain untarnished for generations to come.
