Here are some early names of Survivors, a few revealed here for the first time!

These are not ALL name iterations, only ones we know or are being revealed. Every original Character went through multiple names at some point in their development.

• Adam Denson -> Adam Francis
>> A possible relationship between him and Kate was seemingly scrapped, no further information is known.

• Yui Enatsu -> Yui Kimura
>> It's not known why her name was changed. It's likely she'll get a second name change in the future to correctly switch the order of it to fit Japanese conventions.

• Élodie Beaumont -> Élodie Rakoto
>> Élodie was born in Paris, but her parents weren't. Her name was changed to correctly reflect her Madagascan background since it wouldn't make sense for their last names to be French.

• Yun Seo -> Lee Yun-jin
>> Yun-jin's name was later changed to better suit Korean naming conventions, which have a two syllable given name. Even later (2026), the order was correctly switched around.

• Morrigan Edwards -> Sable Ward
>> Changed for simplicity and uniqueness. Most likely for a less "typical" name.

• The Cultist -> Taurie Cain
>> Taurie was originally not going to have a name at all, to show she gave all of herself to the Entity.

• Dalisay Joy "DJ" Mabini -> DJ Anurak -> Vee Boonyasak
>> Vee was originally Filipino in her initial development. When they shifted from a Manananggal to a Krasue, they changed her last name. Eventually they changed her whole name due to leaks.

• Kade Contois -> Shane Wiigwaas
>> Shifted away from a regional French name to one more fitting to his specific community.

• Imogen / Grace / Michelle -> Aurora [Stardotter]
>> Three of the name options that the community voted on before settling on Aurora. The last name was not a vote.
