A full body scanner that is more sensitive & faster than current machines is now open in London. This new technology aims to support earlier diagnosis of diseases like cancer and will contribute to an imaging data bank for researchers to use to improve understanding of disease.
A new national network of total-body PET scanners will support researchers to detect and treat diseases earlier.
