📍New Jersey has 29 regulatory monitors around the state collecting data and keeping tabs on our air quality! These monitors track the pollutants that matter the most, known as criteria pollutants: ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, lead, and fine particulate matter. EPA then uses this data to determine our state's compliance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Want to know what the air looks like in your area today?
