@katieemorann Ask questions about ideology before the first date. If you can't align in how you think, you shouldn't date them. If you can "agree to disagree" on most topics, then you're both just lying to yourself to force it to work. Don't do that. Otherwise, have simple fun.

@AndrewDMth Magic is always in flux & extremely dangerous. There are different mana fields that you can pull from, dark, light, etc. When you cast a spell, how much mana used is random, and if you exceed your ability, you get hurt or take a penalty. High risk, high reward

@TabiWritesStuff 100% ! Something that I saw a while ago, if people are unwilling to pay for art, they should consider going an entire week without seeing watching a single movie or show, or listening to any music. That alone was a perspective shift to try and fathom that myself.

@Warlockdnd Absolutely! I usually ask the table if they think that it would be fun. Luckily, the group was always willing to say, "yes... however it could do x." In case there was anything potentially game breaking about it. We had a very fun, very powerful game going.
