Principals can lead because Assistant Principals manage the process. Hamilton County Schools recognizes all of our Outstanding Assistant principals this week in honor of National AP week! #APWeek21@DrBryanJohnson@hamcoschools https://t.co/kWB3Yxu2MD
Tech + COMP training = great outcomes. Powerful conversations happening with @hamcoschools educators around classroom organization and management. You know @michellesbettis and I 💚 @Flipgrid and @usekamiapp
Teachers are doing the amazing. Nowhere else are professionals working with impressionable (but happy) young minds on a computer screen AND in front of you. And not missing a beat.
I see it everyday... TY Ts, you are making a difference and doing the amazing... 👊🏾
Although we’ve been able to maintain Phase 3 status thus far, it is important for families to make a plan if any schedule shifts should be warranted.

My professional friends.... I will be leaving Sale Creek School to become the Assistant Principal at Hixson Middle School! Thanks SC for everything! Looking forward to this new chapter and working with @leangela_rogers@hollowayreader@lmhagan16 and the rest of the HMS family!
As many of you know, East Brainerd Elementary School sustained significant damage from the recent tornado. Several teachers have created Amazon wishlists to help replace items lost in their classrooms.

This week I am doing 1:1 virtual meetings with students! Time is spent first checking in with student and PARENTS. getting them answers to questions or concerns about anything. Then spending time with student reading books on level/ interest and playing games! #Kindergarten ❤️
It was a privilege to facilitate alongside @ChrissyEasterly, @pmurr10, @elakirby79, @LeeU, @SouthernNews, @utcsoe, & @inspiretn last night as we work in a unified consortium to better equip our #HCSCIM Ts to support their residents. I’m so inspired by the T leaders who attended.
When you start thinking about scaffolding as what you provide students when they need it, you really change what instruction looks like. My students analyzed poems today, and not one group needed all of the scaffolds originally planned! They did great work! @brownheathera
