@PaulTruswell Quite right & themes resonate across motorsport that I loved - now love less. F1 (used to camp at Silverstone for £5/night), WRC & BRC, drove a WRX that sounded like McRae’s…. watching the British Hillclimb Championship @shelsleywalsh is my go-to….rules simple, fastest wins
@ListerLawrence Need 25k. But maybe interesting to plug the figures in. Thanks for sharing the intel. The 450 Merc might challenge it for comfort. That’s why we all need several cars - variety
@Motor_Sport Wonderful tribute, beautifully written by Matt Bishop. Underrating is the theme perhaps - de Angelis close to Senna. This is Bishop, as close as it gets to Roebuck.
@Keir_Starmer please stay right where you are, ignore the possessed media frenzy and delighted to hear you talk of a disastrous Brexit reverse. We need stability more than most realise
@Apple - your 18+ ID system doesn’t work, & is laggy. Most system updates now on my iPad seem change for change sake and just make the experience more complex. You were brilliant - don’t spoil by over engineering stuff
F2 reverse grid rules. If Raducanu wins the 1st set, does she start the 2nd with a table tennis bat? If England get the Aussies out in the first innings, do they bat the 2nd with a cucumber? If Arsenal are 2-0 up at 1/2 time, do they start the 2nd with 3 men? I despair @tiff_tv
@AAPresident Flawed Smart m’way tech compounds the fundamental driver failure of not looking where you’re going. Whether that’s 70 or 74 mph, irrelevant. Erroneous messages and random speed limits without apparent consequence continue to doom Smart m’way credibility
@ListerLawrence Hybrids exist to help answer an environmental problem, consequential govt rules & I get it. But diesels answer the original exam question - BMW & Mercedes do it best. Swift, effortless, luxurious torque.
@tiff_tv@OfficialWRC Even home championships are struggling to make forest rallying viable but at least we still have a BRC. The Belgian events are a great watch and they actually welcome rallies into their communities. The WRC has self harmed itself to death
