Very successful first day of the GHSA 4A - Region 5 meet. Our 4x800m team won first place overall along with breaking our school record. I also ran a huge 5 second PR in the open 800m with a time of 1:58.58 qualifying me for the finals on Thursday which is also a school record.

I opened up my outdoor season yesterday running the 1600m and the 800m. I placed 4th overall and 3rd overall with a pr in both the 1600m(4:42) and in the 800m(2:05), a 3 second and 2 second Pr in both events!

I finished 8th out of 308 runners this morning at the Carrolton OrthoWest invitational, the state course for GHSA. I ran an 18:13 but this course always reminds me that I need to work on HILLS, HILLS and more HILLS😂.Team placed 9th/45 teams. @W_H_S_Athletics @wolfpack__tf_xc

Had a great weekend at the AAU REGIONAL 8 QUALIFIER. I set a pr in both the 800m running a 2:06 and the 1500m running a 4:29 qualifying for Nationals.

Today wraps up my weekend at Morrow. I ran my first 1500m and had a time of 4:43.48. Not bad for my first time, but I know what I need to do next. I’m ready to keep working!
