The Trades Exhibition Hall is a one-of-a-kind facility providing youth hands-on learning through tools, activities, and careers in the trades in an interactive learning environment. We’re glad to see other provinces building on this model and helping grow the skilled workforce.
Halifax's Trades Exhibition Hall, run by the @NSCSC_ICI, is expanding to Cape Breton by late 2026. Alberta and B.C. are pursuing similar youth trades-discovery centres.

To help create more opportunities for young Canadians, the government is launching Team Canada Strong to recruit, train, and hire 80,000 to 100,000 new Red Seal skilled trades workers.
Mental Health Week is a time to reflect, check in on one another, and remind ourselves that support is always within reach. Across Nova Scotia, there are services available, from counselling to crisis supports, so no one has to face challenges alone. There is more work to do, and we will continue to build up our mental healthcare system to support all Nova Scotians.

The new Team Canada Strong will lead a nationwide effort to recruit, train, and hire 80,000- 100,000 new Red Seal skilled workers to build housing, major projects, and defence readiness at speed and at scale.
