NSCS students supported the MLK Center’s Summer Concert Series on June 17 and July 15 by assisting with logistics, grilling and serving food. They also helped manage the Juneteenth Basketball Tournament by operating the scoreboard and tracking brackets. Bravo Zulu!

On July 11, NSCS volunteers joined VFW Post 406 at Island Cemetery to retrieve and store American flags placed for Memorial Day. Their efforts preserve an important tradition of remembrance and prepare the flags for reuse on Veterans Day. Bravo Zulu!

Bravo Zulu to LT St Romain on receiving the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal! From May 2021–June 2026, he volunteered 300+ hours and coordinated 100+ more across six communities. As a BSOC instructor at NSCS, he now prepares future Supply Corps officers for the fleet.

Last Friday, BSOC 3rd Battalion students completed Officer-Like Qualities assessments, demonstrating the leadership, integrity, and professionalism expected of Naval officers. These evaluations help prepare future Supply Officers to lead Sailors and strengthen fleet readiness.
