1. Dan Blysma (not Bylsma) has been name Head Coach

2. John Tortorella has been demoted to an assistant coach role, mainly focusing on the defensive aspects of the game.

3. Todd Richards is the new special teams coach.

Joe Thornton has signed a 5 year extension with the Blue Jackets, while Jaromir Jagr has signed a 3 year extension with them. Brent Burns still remains on an expiring contract, which is certainly a scary thing for Blue Jackets fans, especially after what happened with Pominville.
