Been a rough week for minor lacrosse in Halifax. There have been multiple incidents with verbal abuse directed at on-floor officials, timekeepers and scorers. It would be sad to see the sport go the way of minor basketball and have to have some spectator free games

Amateur sports are facing a troubling decline in the number of officials. To tackle this issue, eight Provincial Sport Organizations in Nova Scotia have united to combat official abuse in sport by introducing the 'Green Armband Initiative'.
