Timeline of My Pending GFT Appeal (Account: 314960425)
I'm sharing the factual timeline of my experience with Goat Funded Trader @GoatFunded regarding my pending appeal.
This is not an accusation or an attempt to seek special treatment. I am simply asking for my appeal to receive a response and, if appropriate, a thorough and fair review.
For context, I have previously traded with Goat Funded Trader and successfully received a payout on an earlier Instant account. This appeal relates solely to a subsequent Instant account.
Timeline
18 May 2026
I purchased my third Goat Funded Trader Instant account.
1 June 2026
I submitted a payout request for this account.
3 June 2026
My account was breached following an allegation of copy/coordinated trading.
I categorically deny this allegation and maintain that every trade was placed independently using my own trading strategy. I therefore exercised my right to appeal the decision.
4 June 2026
I submitted a detailed appeal to the Risk Team requesting:
• A manual review of my case.
• Clarification regarding the evidence relied upon.
• An opportunity for my appeal to be properly considered.
9 June 2026
Having received no response, I sent a follow up email to the Risk Team.
11 June 2026
I contacted Support for assistance.
Support advised me that I would receive a response once the Risk Team had completed its review.
I appreciated the update and continued waiting patiently.
23 June 2026
Having waited almost two further weeks without any communication from the Risk Team, I contacted Support again.
Although Support replied, no substantive update regarding the status of my appeal was provided.
3 July 2026
After waiting almost a month without any acknowledgement, update, or decision, I reached out privately via X.
I sent direct messages to both the official Goat Funded Trader account @GoatFunded and CEO @EdwardXLreal explaining the situation.
The message sent to the official Goat Funded Trader account has been marked as Seen, but I have not received a reply.
9 July 2026
Having still received no response, I made a respectful public post on X requesting assistance and tagged both the official Goat Funded Trader account @GoatFunded and CEO @EdwardXLreal.
12 July 2026
I posted a polite follow up requesting confirmation that my appeal was still under review or, alternatively, any update regarding its status.

What I Am Requesting
I fully respect Goat Funded Trader's right to investigate suspected rule violations and to enforce its trading rules where appropriate.
I am not asking anyone to disregard those rules or overturn the decision without proper review.
I am simply requesting:
• Confirmation that my appeal is still under review.
• Acknowledgement that my appeal has been received.
• A substantive response from the Risk Team.
If, after a thorough review supported by clear evidence, the original decision is upheld, I will respect that outcome.
However, remaining without any acknowledgement or decision for over six weeks has been both frustrating and disappointing.
Everything stated above is supported by dated emails, support correspondence, direct messages, and screenshots that I have retained.
If anyone from @GoatFunded or the Risk Team is able to assist, I would genuinely appreciate it.
Thank you.
Dear @EdwardXLreal and @GoatFunded,
I am respectfully requesting assistance regarding my pending appeal for account 314960425.
Over one month ago, I submitted an appeal to your Risk Team regarding a copy trading determination. Since then, I have sent follow up emails, contacted Support multiple times, and was informed that I would receive a response once the review was completed.
Despite waiting patiently for over a month, I have not received any acknowledgement, update, request for additional information, or decision regarding my appeal.
I fully understand that investigations require careful review, and I respect the importance of maintaining the integrity of your platform. I am simply asking for my appeal to be reviewed and for a response to be provided.
I have extensive supporting evidence, including documented backtesting records dating back to 2024 demonstrating the independent development of my trading strategy, and I am happy to provide any additional information required.
I would sincerely appreciate your assistance in ensuring my appeal receives a thorough review and a response.
Thank you.
Nah, I knew it. Bro, aren't you the one being talked about here. E8 Markets remains one of the best in my opinion. You should have shared the explanation they gave you so that everyone can judge fairly. This post is misleading. Lots of prop firms restrict traders to 1% risk per trade idea. That's not new

Thank you for sharing your experience. We've reviewed the account history in full, and we'd like to provide the complete context.
1. During the evaluation stage, the largest loss on the account was 4% of the account balance, incurred on a single trade idea.
2. Our risk team contacted you directly regarding risk management and explained how risk per trade idea is assessed — including that multiple stacked positions on the same instrument, in the same direction, are treated as one trade idea. We also made clear that we are looking for traders who treat their account with the utmost respect and demonstrate strong risk management — ideally risking no more than 1% per trade idea.
3. In the sim-funded stage, following this communication, 7% of the account balance was risked on a single trade idea — a serious violation of our risk management rules.
4. Despite this, we chose not to end the relationship. We issued you a fresh $500,000 sim-funded account as a gesture of goodwill.
5. On this second account, proper risk management principles were again not followed. Only after the account reached serious drawdown levels was a refund demanded.
We warned first, we gave a second chance, and the same behavior followed. Our rules are published, applied equally to all traders, and were communicated to you individually at every step.
Our support team remains available to review the complete trade log with you.
@Sniperbmw12@ohajielom@E8Markets Exactly! I wouldn't call them scammers yet. Let's see the explanations they gave first and then we can judge for ourselves
Wow! I must say I'm really shocked! Even E8 too? Oh, oh. That's bad news for the industry. I'm genuinely surprised cos I had absolutely nothing but good experiences while I was with them. Funny enough, I only blew the account a few weeks ago. I'm curious to see how this ends. Looks like so many prop firms are beginning to have issues paying out..
Which prop firms can one really beat their chest about these days?
Congratulations on your achievement! 👏
That said, if you knew what I know, you'd probably see this as a lot of underutilized effort.
Recovering from a -9.95% drawdown all the way to getting funded takes tremendous discipline, but the same time and effort could have been directed toward a strategy that might have produced 2 or 3 payouts instead.
Take out time to check out Waqar Asim and his free YouTube content. I think you might find it eye opening. Thank me later 😉.
I don't purchase evals anymore. I did once, when I first began trading prop firms but not anymore. I go straight to funded now.
The only evaluation I'd consider buying again is E8 Markets and that's cos they don't have any instant funded plans and I was really impressed at how they handled any issues during the time I had an account with them.
Day 47 since submitting my appeal to @GoatFunded.
I'm still awaiting an acknowledgement or update from the Risk Team.
@Haruna_gft@Sammy_GFT@HafeezGFT@NazGFT , if you're able to assist or direct this to the appropriate team, I would genuinely appreciate it.

@SIN3R6Y@HedronCrypto Hello Hedron, could you please pin the correct hedron telegram group on your page. There seem to be so many out there...
Meanwhile, https://t.co/f9CwRH4f88 doesn't seem to be working anymore. Mint button doesn't respond. Is there a new website?

@yourfriendSOMMI Hi Sommi, any ideas if there's an issue with the bridge? I can't seem to connect. Can neither bridge in nor bridge out. Any insight please?
