My opinion? That’s true for a lot of people, but I don’t think love after 25 is about giving up sparks or butterflies. It’s about realizing that chemistry alone isn’t enough.

The butterflies are nice, but can they communicate? Can they be consistent? Can they support you when life gets hard?

As you get older, you start valuing peace, emotional maturity, trust, and shared goals because you’ve learned that excitement without stability often comes with unnecessary stress. The ideal relationship isn’t choosing between sparks and stability—it’s finding someone who gives you both.
