Day 28: PPS-Personal Promotion Scheme, promotion scheme incumbent to post, kept in abeyance without any alternative policy. Employees have no promotion scheme as on today. The Institute where non-teaching Staff recruited and retired on same designation without any promotion.

NIPER-Mohali, An Institute of National Importance, boost Govt to open 6 other NIPERs across the Nation. But it's unfortunate that there is no career progression policy for Non-teaching Staff since its establishment .Demand to release PPS which is approved by BOG in 2003 and 2013.

The Staff of NIPER-Mohali, Despite NIPER being an Institute of National Importance, a clear disparity exists Teaching staff are governed by a structured Career Advancement Scheme (CAS), whereas non-teaching staff continue to remain policy even after more than three decades.
