(Slightly unclear why it's not categorised as a /FULSTL application as that's essentailly what it is).
Deadline also Friday 27 March.
@edinhelp Thanks - this seems to have been mostly resolved - although still a few items scattered around (road signs etc.).
Hopefully the weather will be obliging over the weekend.
@edinhelp Phase 1 of the Mansfield Place Resurfacing Works started on 9 March. Yes - it has been 'windy' - but the impact for pedestrians & cyclists due to the poorly installed barriers is not acceptable.
No personnel on site to raise concerns. Can this be resolved asap ?

Short Term Let appeals to the DPEA (Scottish Reporter) : almost 50 appeals against refusal of (mainly retrospective) planning permission across Edinburgh have been Withdrawn in the last 2 weeks (e.g. below)
Not clear what has prompted this but does help to unclog the system.....
Beaverhall House demolition now underway. Demolition & erection of a mixed use development (incl. 205 residential units) was approved in Nov'23.
Demolition follows the approval of a Section 75A 'Modification of a Planning Obligation' in Feb'25 due to concerns over vandalism.
We’ve (re)joined Instagram to improve how we listen, communicate & work with local residents, community groups, businesses, visitors and other important stakeholders.

@edinhelp@AngryWaves There are many instances of missing lids on the new communal bins - it would be helpful if notifications could be raised by the operating crews rather than just rely on reports from members of the public.
Longer term - finding a more robust bin would also help.
Edinburgh residents coming together to oppose more unmanaged short term lets as they are “blindsided” by “appalling” short-term let decision
