Nice podcast between our Cyclist Welcome Manager @ZsoltSchuller and journalist @carltonreid, that talks about the work @nationaltrust is doing to support active and sustainable travel to NT places.π π΄ββοΈ https://t.co/o4QramqzHW
@BikeSporta @timestravel@nationaltrust Totally agree - NT have got ten official cycle hubs already which are brilliant for kids - but lots of others places where kids can cycle safely that are not promoted - be great to develop this concept a bit more I reckon!
It feels like a million years since the long hot summer of 2022, but doing this piece for @timestravel brought back some lovely memories! https://t.co/sVZWjVNDQ2
@JustinNystrom@NTNewarkPark@nationaltrust Thanks Justin! I've generally given up on X but couldn't resist posting this one. I think the tour went under the radar for most colleagues but it was nice to do the NT magazine article which seemed to go down well! Good to hear from you!
@SouterNT But they might want to invest in a few more bike racks in preparation.
The three there were fully used, and overflowing before we arrived at 11.00am on a Tuesday in school term time.
Build it and they will come (and eat cake) and get a 10% discount on hot drinks!
@NTByBike
And on a positive note: this year you can vote for better cycling and walking routes to @nationaltrust places. What's not to like?

627 'official' NT properties,
8,700 kilometers and
120,000 meters of climbing later..
(and with an awesome map to prove it) I thanked my amazing #NTByBike crew for their support. This would simply not have been possible without these guys!π
@CrazyMuseumMum I know! It was pretty chaotic up there when we arrived with cars parked all along the verges of an already very narrow road and cars backing up onto the main road. The irony of this being about prompting better access by bike was certainly not lost on me!
