North Texas Medical Center is a 60-bed acute care hospital located 60 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth and five miles south of the Texas-Oklahoma Border.
All NTMC Health Clinics (Primary, Pediatrics, Women's Orthopedics and Surgical Specialists) will be closed again on Tuesday.
NTMC outpatient services including medical imaging, laboratory, surgery and therapy will be open.
Today we congratulate Maci McCage on passing her licensure exam to officially become an LVN. Maci, who works on our Med/Surg unit, started at NTMC as a Multi-Skilled Technician before finishing nursing school.
Today, we welcomed a class of EMT students for a tour of the hospital. These men will be doing their clinical rotations at NTMC this semester as they strive for a future career as a first responder.
Wow, what a group! These Associate Degree Nursing students from North Central Texas College will be doing their clinical rotations at our hospital this Fall. We had a chance to give them a tour of our facility today.
NTMC employees in our Medical/Surgical unit collected school supplies that are being donated today to the Boys and Girls Club of Cooke County. We hope all area students and teachers have a great 2025-26 school year!
Congrats to Dr. Isabelle Christian. She recently passed her State of Texas PT Board exam and is officially a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Christian is a graduate of Era High School and works with patients in our Therapy Services department.
We congratulate our Therapy Services department for receiving perfect Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey scores. This week, they were presented the HCAHPS Unit of the Month award.
We would like to congratulate NTMC Pharmacy manager Mindy Keys on being named Employee of the Quarter today. She also put her horticulture skills to work and created an amazing outdoor space that patients, visitors and employees can enjoy.
Today, we enjoyed having interns from Project Transformation visit NTMC for a tour and to learn about hospital careers. These are students who attend North Central Texas College and Grayson College who are spending their summer helping children with their reading skills.

April is Occupational Therapy Month, a time to recognize and honor the contributions of occupational therapists and their impact on people's lives. At NTMC, we are lucky to have two outstanding occupational therapists, Antje Webernick and Laura Wyrick.
Today is National Wear Red Day to help raise awareness of the No. 1 killer of women, cardiovascular disease. Nearly 45% of women ages 20+ are living with some form of cardiovascular disease. NTMC employees wore red today to show their support.
