We had a great time at North Shore Senior Center for the Veterans Day Bagel Breakfast that we cosponsored with Northfield Township. 3.5% of New Trier Township residents are veterans, and there are resources in our community for them.

Our November Clothing Drive with Connections for the Homeless starts today and goes through next Friday, November 22! You can donate men's casual clothes, winter coats, sweaters, long sleeve shirts, pants, shoes, and underwear (new).

In honor of Veterans Day, the New Trier Township office will be closed on Monday, November 11 and will reopen on Tuesday, November 12.

The New Trier Township Food Pantry has been participating in food rescue with local businesses which helps reduce food waste while also providing donations for the pantry. Hewn Bakery in Winnetka has been providing bread and FoodHaul in Wilmette has been providing pre-made meals.
