NTU English successfully hosted an Graduate Research Symposium on October 5th, featuring brilliant graduate students sharing papers on the theme of "Silence and Sound"! Congratulations to the organising committee for pulling off such an intellectually stimulating event!

Sami’s essay was described by judges as “a promising and compelling engagement […] deploying a feminine/queer/crip lens, supported by poignant textual analysis, and housed within an innovative structure of falling, wilting, and blooming.”

Congratulations to our undergraduate student Sami Goh for winning the 4th @SGUnbound1 Awards for the Best Undergraduate Essays on Singapore and Other Literatures with their essay, “Falling, Wilting, Blooming: Floral Futures in Mok Zining’s The Orchid Folios”!
