WATCH: A land dispute has erupted between Samuel Brian Ssegawa and Dr. Charles Lugero over a plot in Kiwonvu Village, Mulago Ward, Kawempe Division.
Dr. Lugero accuses the Uganda Land Commission of unlawfully issuing Ssegawa a leasehold title, which the commission has since cancelled. Ssegawa, however, maintains that he is the rightful Kibanja owner and says the President was given incorrect information.
Lands Minister Judith Nabakooba has intervened, directing that building materials blocking access to Ssegawa’s structure be removed as the two parties await a meeting to resolve the dispute. #NTVNews
