Tonight is the 46 year anniversary of the "Night of the Twisters". One supercell storm produced 7 tornadoes over the city of Grand Island in a 2 hour span. One of the most unique meteorological events on record.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Phelps, Gosper, Furnas, and Harlan Counties until 6PM CDT. This storm is moving northeast at 30MPH and is capable of producing 60MPH wind gusts and 1in hail size.

As of now we do not have any severe thunderstorm warnings in place. With that said these storms could produce local wind gusts over 50 mph and 1/2" size hail as they move east northeast.
