@JakeRTurnbull Mate, the window isn’t even open yet, what are you waffling about?
By selling Gordon quickly before the window even opens, the club have quite literally learnt from the Isak saga.
Positive send off, money in hand early, window not even open. The opposite of Isak…
@GJ_1892 Who are you to urge anyone to reconsider mate 😂 you either like it or you don’t, it isn’t some political statement to show up and buy your club’s home strip 😂
@hoothoot81@RichySouthern I wouldn’t call what we saw as ‘fit’ mate, looked like he’d been borrowing Callum Wilson’s skinny jeans the way he moves 😅 I’m not sure if he’s been fit at any point in the whole season just gone. I’d be looking to sell at a loss and move on personally
@JoelJackson89@TMHG91@Pooliemags1Ttv He went back to old ways because Wissa was signed to plug and play re Isak, Wolte was never signed to be starting every game mate. Obviously in hindsight Wissa has been a shitshow, but personally I don’t fault him for not changing the entire system for a single development player
@nufcpb Chances are there’ll be an adjustment period for a 20 year old French youth player coming into the prem for the first time mate, nuke the club if Pope is still number 1 next May 😅
Number 1 for the foreseeable sorted.
He’s young and coming from abroad, chances are it’ll be a huge adjustment, patience needed from the fan base going into next season…

🚨Ewen Jaouen agreement confirmed at this end. Incoming youngster will sign four-year deal. And set to join from Reims to compete to be number 1 on Tyneside.

@gw850@LucasGert_ IMO it screams that the media, agents etc are name dropping Newcastle for their own agendas rather than us being genuinely in for a player. No coincidence it being when deals are nearly done…
We were never in for most of the names linked with us last summer
@dave_just_dave@Slaughts_1 Because the entire system is centralised around the owner Tony Bloom and his companies within analytics, he’s the architect. I’d wager my money he isn’t interested in a scouting position mate
@CharIieBennett@Greg_Larmouth He never would’ve developed into the player he is today had he stayed with us. At the time of his sale, he wasn’t breaking into that midfield three. Since then he has played endless first team football to develop, just wouldn’t have happened here
@S0uthernGe0rdie Find a better example mate, not the one where a player is following the manager he played for for 4 seasons, with the added bonus of higher wages than we offer
@Blaydon_Racer@Pooliemags1Ttv I’ve pointed this out numerous times to no prevail… the man himself has said he is still fully committed, while the club are fully backing him still. Why on earth would he be linked elsewhere 😂
@NUFCEdge@DubzzzyD It’s almost as if both of those things correlate with the fact our owners can’t transform the first team AND the academy in such a short amount of time after how many years of no investment?
There are plenty of genuine things to be disappointed about, stop clutching at straws
