Our 4th year students studying the faulted contact between the Sierra Cabrera and the Vera Basin, SE Spain. The 10-day field course to the Almeria area linking the metamorphic basement, volcanics and sedimentary basins to the wider tectonic evolution of the western Mediterranean
PhD researcher Halleluya Ekandjo @Naantu10 recently carried out fieldwork in Rosh Pinah, southern Namibia, with lecturer @koentorremans. Her research aims at better understanding the metals in the subsurface that are critical for our society @iCRAGcentre#fieldworkfriday
Delighted to welcome Tom Austin @CalderaTom to the group here at @UCD_Earth_Sci. He'll be modelling caldera resurgence for the next few years, funded by @iCRAGcentre - our volcano contingent grows!
