NEU members should recently have received an email (subject: "Your indicative ballot paper is inside - please use it") with a link to a short survey asking your opinion on school funding. It's only four questions long and took me about 30 seconds to complete. #HandsUp

Really? Schools are facing big cuts this year & last year there were 66,000 more pupils but:
😱5,400 FEWER teachers
😱2,800 FEWER teaching assistants
😱1,400 FEWER support staff
😱1,200 FEWER auxiliary staff
Children have one chance to go to school - the Govt is failing them

It narrows maths assessment, ignores the linked topics of division and fractions, and tells teachers nothing they don’t know already.

An enormous waste of time, and of £5million+ of public money.
