@KAlbosta@Siya_22100 No offense intended, but “100 divided by 0.5” is a pricise and normal math expression. Any other interpretation is careless and an inaccurate conclusion. It gives you 200. Add 20 and you get 220. If you cannot fathom that, avoid a career that relies heavily on math.
@CaraSmi38982200@KAlbosta@Siya_22100 Typos typos typos. Nobody cares any more. I just finished a successful 50+ year career in printing and publications, so I have a considerable grasp of the language. But quick keystrokes on a mini phone keyboard don’t play nice with my fat thumbs. 😎
@truth__ful@KAlbosta@Siya_22100 The fact that “half” can be taken as half of 100, or simply 1/2 (commonly half of 1) is just proof that the question is either badly worded or intentionally deceiving just to get arguments like this going. I took the road that assumed each part of a math question was actual math.
@Krossa15k@Siya_22100 It doesn’t say “100 divided by half of itself.” if you want it to be a trick question, that’s one thing. But if you want to speak in mathematical terms accurately, half means 0.5. On any standard calculator and gives you 200. Adding 20 give you 220.
@SternDrewCrypto@DNAOnChain I suppose that could be said of any weapon, most of which are patented. But for the most part, traditional weapons can be defensive as well as offensive, and aren’t usually surreptitious and devious in design. My issue is when the innate design secretly undercuts our autonomy.
@SternDrewCrypto@DNAOnChain I’ll get in trouble for this probably, but are patents and inventions that have the clear potential to override the free will and autonomy of unaware humans actually permitted? Apparently so. What have we done?
@ValerieAnne1970@hrkbenowen Abandon the insurance system. Pay “well-premiums.” The doctor gets paid a small regular fee ONLY IF YOU ARE WELL. If you get sick or hurt, premiums STOP until you are cured or stabilized to resume your life activities. Shift the incentive away from perpetual “sick-care.”
@hyde62056@SamanthaTaghoy I don’t care what label you give it. This is pure theft of nature’s resources to which all living beings are entitled. The concept of sharing in the abundance just happens to escape the sociopathic mind. It’s simply greed dressed up to appear acceptable.
@Ryan221452 @RadioGenoa Bad photo rendering. Digital artifacts and poor contrast. It did something similar to the legs too, and you know they don’t really look like that.
@sweet_nector1 Dynamo generator for bicycle headlamp. The light was only powered on while the wheel turned the rotor. Many thousands of us remember this, and many used it. We ain’t all dead just yet! Amazon still sells the lamp & generator kit.😎
