#MoreYouKnowMonday The iconic V&T Carson City shop was dismantled in 1991. Repurposed archways can be seen at the Round Pond Estates in Oakville and at Harland Estates Winery. Here you can see how our current design represents the iconic doorways. NSRM-CC Collection #NVCultureDay

The locomotive sat uncovered in the UP’s East Los Angeles yard from 1955 until being purchased by the State of Nevada for the Nevada State Heritage Association in 1971. It was the first piece of former V&T equipment brought back to Carson.
