A quick reminder that progress doesn’t happen on its own.
It happens because people choose to show up.
Whether you’re volunteering, organizing, or simply staying informed, thank you for being part of this movement.💙

Today is back to school. 🎒
Under the Lombardo-Trump economy, this year parents are spending 11% more for school lunch essentials, 27% more for lunch boxes, and blueberries are up 48% more.

🚨 Former Attorney General @AdamLaxalt has ENDORSED David Flippo for Congress!
While Laxalt was Nevada's Attorney General, he introduced a bill to clear the backlog of rape kits to help victims get the justice they deserve - Teresa Benitez Thompson killed the bill.
The best ideas don't stop at city limits. Neither should our partnerships.
Over the past week, I had the privilege of traveling to all 17 of Nevada's counties as part of my annual statewide tour.
This year was especially meaningful. Alongside Attorney General Aaron Ford, Congressman Steven Horsford, and many of my legislative colleagues, I met with local leaders, county commissioners, small business owners, educators, and community members to hear directly about the challenges and opportunities facing communities across our state.
One thing became clear: while every community is unique, many of the challenges we face are shared. Housing affordability, workforce shortages, infrastructure, public safety, economic development, and supporting our veterans aren't just North Las Vegas issues. They're Nevada issues.
As Mayor, I'll bring these relationships home. I'll work with local, state, and federal partners to attract new resources, strengthen our economy, and ensure North Las Vegas has a seat at every table where decisions are being made.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me into your communities. I came home with new ideas, stronger partnerships, and an even greater commitment to serving North Las Vegas.
Senator Jacky Rosen on the Senate unanimously passing resolution opposing pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell: "Now, they're on the record, every single Republican. So if Donald Trump does this, they will have to answer for that."
JUST IN: A surprisingly bad job report. The US economy LOST -23,000 jobs in July (way below expectations of +80k). May and June were revised DOWN by a combined -103,000.
Unemployment rate: 4.1% ->This went down for the WRONG reasons. Over 260,000 left the labor force
Wage growth: 3.2% -->this is entirely wiped out by inflation
One last day on the road. 💙
We started in Elko, toured Ely with White Pine Democrats, and made our way to Mesquite to spend time with local Democrats.
It’s bittersweet to see this tour come to an end, but after a week of long drives, new and familiar faces, and conversations in communities all across Nevada, we’re heading home feeling more energized about election season than ever.✨
Nevadans are struggling to afford the basics under Lombardo and Trump. While they cozy up to billionaires, I’m focused on one thing: making life affordable again.
🚨As costs skyrocket, Joe Lombardo’s top priority is taking care of Trump’s “billionaire friends” who are bankrolling his campaign and jacking up Nevadans’ prices.
As Governor, my top priority will be taking care of working Nevadans.
Republicans’ “Big Beautiful Bill” created the largest single-year increase in the Social Security deficit in over 30 years. We need to be working on bipartisan solutions to protect Social Security and the benefits that Americans worked hard to earn, not making the problem worse.
Nevada Workers Will Lead Our Economic Comeback—and Out of the Trump Slump
The reality facing Nevada today is simple: too many working families can’t afford the basics. They’re choosing between groceries and health care, housing and utility bills, while costs continue to rise and too many paychecks fail to keep up. That’s the Trump Slump.
I stand with Culinary Union Local 226 and the hospitality workers, tipped workers, and working people who power Nevada’s economy. They don’t need political theater. They need real relief.
That’s why I’ve introduced the RELIEF Act to lower costs, the TIPS Improvement Act to help tipped workers keep more of what they’ve earned, and the HOME Act to expand homeownership opportunities for working families.
Nevada’s workers built this state, and they’ll lead our economic comeback—by moving Nevada out of the Trump Slump and into an Affordable Nevada.
The only people getting handouts are billionaires. Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” the same bill Lombardo said we should be excited about, hands permanent tax breaks to the richest people in the country while ripping away health care and food assistance from everyday Nevadans.
Over the last two days, we visited Café Con Papi, where we met with @youngdemsnv and labor leaders before holding a press conference pushing back on Trump and Lombardo’s lies about the economy and highlighting the affordability crisis facing Nevada families.
From there, we made stops in Lovelock, Winnemucca, and Battle Mountain then ended the day hanging out with Elko County Democrats.
As Nevadans face the rising cost of gas, groceries, health care and utilities under the Lombardo-Trump Economy, Joe Lombardo *actually* said we need to take care of his “billionaire friends”
