After the tram bridge opening, we hot footed it to @HarrisPreston for a first look at new Horrible Histories exhibition. Martin Brown was interviewed by nine-year-old Connie and Stan. First look in the morning and full interview on Sunday as he was given a gruesome grilling(!)

This juxtaposition of old and new was one of our favourite Manchester views. Now the Hotspur Press is ashes, how long will it be before our heritage is erased from the skyline completely, replaced by towering high-rises with no shared history or intrinsic value?
