@renegad55492584 @playnewworld Lack of content, a huge amount of bugs and exploits affecting end-game, PvP and economy, disagreement on the direction of the game forcing grind (Watermark system, expertise etc).

It has been getting better since we took a break though so we are staying hopeful and observing!

@ChrisJo28311291 This decision wasn't the only reason for our hiatus, it was just a contributor. The mindset behind the initial decision was more troubling than the decision itself. The game is also still far from being stable, smooth, and exploit free. So we have decided to step back and wait :)

We may have put our show on hiatus but we'll keep observing and it would be a shame to not share the update on the whole Expertise topic.

TLDR; GS downscaling will only affect items TRADED (not crafted) AFTER the patch. 🔥

This will still be rough for new players after the patch as they will still be forced to either PvE or Craft grind, but at least it will not suddenly invalidate the efforts of players thus far. ~Ark

We said this a few times on the show in the past episodes but one issue @playnewworld team having is the knee-jerk reactions they are having to issues resulting in further problems. This seems to be one of those reactions as given some more thought, this would've been obvious.

@Flessner88 @S3WarMachineOP @playnewworld However, the direction AGS is taking with their decisions, and the technical state of the game means every enjoyable moment is accompanied by frustration for us. And by experience we know that we can't put out a quality show out there when frustrated. So we slumber. :)

@Flessner88 @S3WarMachineOP @playnewworld Don't get us wrong the game has one of the most enjoyable combat flow out there, as well as a great concept with the territory control (if it weren't shadowed by bugs/exploits) so there is nothing wrong with enjoying the game! We'll probably still hop on here and there ourselves.

We'll be waiting for less bugs/exploits that affect the already existing content of the game, server merges, more QoL features as well as a better direction that we can agree. (i.e. Not making PvE Grind mandatory & allowing other playstyles to exist without depending on it)
