STATEMENT (5 Feb. 2025)
The Network of Women Journalists for Digital Rights (NWJDR) unequivocally condemns the vile and orchestrated campaign of threats and targeted disinformation against senior journalist and anchor @MunizaeJahangir by extremist elements. 🧵
NWJDR stands in unwavering solidarity with Jahangir, making it clear that neither intimidation nor disinformation campaigns against journalists will succeed in silencing those dedicated to truth & justice. Failure to act will be seen as complicity in this attack on press freedom.
