Today, in collaboration with COGHTA, we engaged with the SALGA PEC to outline our mandate aimed at empowering municipalities across the province. This initiative marks the beginning of our concerted efforts to support and enhance local governance and development

Engaging in a high level discussion with the Provincial Aids Council at Mmabatho Palms. The discussion aims to explore strategic interventions, assess current challenges, and collaboratively develop effective solutions to enhance support and care for affected populations.

Building and strengthening relations in the field of non state actors. This morning, I conducted a meeting with the Nedbank stakeholders to establish and expand on programmes which can develop our province. We deliberated on interventions we can execute for our communities.🇿🇦

This week, we concluded a programme of fruitful one-on-one engagements headed by the Office of the Premier. We engaged with various departments of the province to provide support and guidance in implementing programs and policies which are aimed at enhancing our province.

Today, I became the first MEC to present the Departmental Budget Speech for the Provincial Treasury at the NWPL. I must say that I have set a tone for the house as my sole mandate is to provide monitoring and oversight to the departments, municipalities and public entities. 🇿🇦
