Standardization is killing creativity, problem solving and critical thinking - standardization doesn’t prepare our students for the world they will operate in.

Professional athletes will get tested multiple times a week to ensure that their sports are safe.
Educators aren't guaranteed any tests for them or their students. They must put 15-30 kids in a room & "make it work"
It’s not selfish for educators to bring up concerns about exposure to COVID-19. It’s not even self-care. It’s basic self-preservation. And that’s often motivated by the human desire to be alive for our loved ones. Saying, “I want to live” shouldn’t be a controversial stance.
Teachers appreciate it when their administrator gives them the benefit of the doubt. And that’s one thing students always appreciate from their teachers.
Georgia is suspending standardized testing for the upcoming school year & formal teacher evals and are seeking to permanently cut certain tests. This will also save $10's of millions from the budget that can be used toward teacher pay, etc. Let's hope other states step up!
