@yegwave We as a society are doomed. People get out the phone to record, call for help but don’t actually do anything to help. Taking action and doing things is always someone else’s responsibility.
@ctvedmonton The elks are still recovering from decades of mismanagement that placed the vanity of the previous owners above fan experience and win games. The name of the team is only a small part of that. Fix the other stuff, and the name won’t matter.
Thread- Hey I have a question for @Microsoft Why has the junk filter on @Outlook gotten so crappy lately? 10 or 12 times a day I get obvious Phishing scam emails that claim @elonmusk wasn’t to lower my energy bills or @CAA wants to give me a free roadside safety kit.
6- I am kind of at my wits end with this. I can usually tell it’s a phishing scam with the first character of the subject line in the banner notification. How come your filter can’t at least put that in the other inbox so my phone doesn’t ding every 10 minutes with spam?
5- How is it that a blank email from a string of [email protected] is allowed into my focused inbox? I switched to outlook over a decade ago partly because you were the best at this kind of stuff. Now someone has figured out how to get past the filter and you haven’t fixed it.
4- The email are empty except for a subject line and an image. The image is different all the time and contains the text of the scam that is being pulled. I can understand that maybe without text, the spam filter can’t identify keywords, but the clues are in the subject.
3- And it’s not like it’s just the occasional one that slips through. It’s up to 20 per day. I keep reporting these as spam, but they keep coming. For months now. Does that report function do anything? These are go right into my focused inbox, and send me a push notification.
2- These emails have ridiculous subject lines like “~~<<CAA>>~~ gives FR€€!!!!!!!’ -%Kit for You%- 🎄” or “✨ELoN MuSK ✨wants to reduce your ENERGY BiLL to ZeRo” I have a hard time believing that what ever algorithm you use to identify spam can’t find these emails.
Hey @McDonalds i just wanted to let you know that the staff at your 80ave and gateway bvld location in Edmonton Alberta are stealing from the customers. They will ring in an expensive burger, then charge the order to the cheapest thing on the menu and pocket the difference.
Was @McDonaldsCanada for some poison. $11.49 for a McChicken meal (WTH BTW) and they want 15¢ for a bag to hand me the poison. I say no, grab the poison off of the tray, box flips open and dumps my sandwich on the tray. Oh well, make me a new one. Whose idea was this? So dumb
