It seems Wikipedia is now officially treating the Syrian Civil War as a conflict that has ended with some occasional clashes.
Truly the end of an era. Never thought I'd see the day.
Now let's just hope it doesn't become Libya 2.0 with another civil war in the aftermath.
If your first thought when you see fans wanting to meet or shake hands with an idol is that it's somehow creepy or has se*ual intentions behind it, maybe that says more about the way you view these interactions than the fans themselves.
Wotas go to handshake events because we support our idols and want the chance to meet them, talk to them and tell them that directly. That's literally the whole point.
And these aren't private meetings either. There are staff members right there with the idol throughout the interaction.
Also, Sato Airi is 22 years old, not 14. You can think buying 2,004 tickets is excessive, but at least get the basic facts right before portraying an entire fan culture as something creepy.
so I've been telling my kamioshi (Ririka from Wasuta) that I want to work with the group as a VA before they disband...and she just hits me with "let's work together for sure, it's your dream, right?"😭you can't make this shit up I swear😭😭
