@missmaryeliza Exactly and again the point isn’t only to inq when a change is warranted, you inq regardless. Your point on no inq is the real issue, not whether or not an infraction warranted a change. You shouldn’t be the minority in that regard!
Agreed but nothing worse than cheesy and unrealistic (the overdone angst city teen goes to her estranged grandfathers farm to work for the summer and creates an instant bond with the meanest stallion turning him into a puppy and they ride off into the sunset with their national dressage blue ribbon 🤣) this show has the good stuff!
By filing an appeal these owners are attempting to set a very dangerous precedent. The judge clearly understood the nature of our sport better than these connections….pathetic.
@Animalsheltrdoc No way that would hold up in court. Unless there was clear and blatant misconduct. Gambling, sports betting, is taking a risk and knowing it’s exactly that. However, I will say that’s why the job of the stewards, or other sports officials, is so important!
Welcome to the CAT 1 argument. However, since we operate on CAT 2 regs here in the states, a foul is a foul, regardless if the foul directly or indirectly, potentially caused the fouled horse a placing. Under CAT 1 the argument that the 3 was not going to pass the 1, with or without the interference, is sufficient to stay the outcome-no DQ.
