The New York State Association of European Historians is proud to announce that we are accepting submissions for the triennial Charles R. Bailey Prize for best journal article on European history. Articles published between August 2020 and July 2023 are eligible for consideration
The submission deadline is August 1, 2023. The award will be presented during the annual conference at St. Francis College in New York City on Oct. 13-14, 2023. The winner will be notified prior to the conference to facilitate attendance.
As a law professor, I contend that majoring in history is *the best* preparation you could have for several core law school courses, including especially constitutional law, and among the best preparation you could have for most of the others.
