Nothing is more important than access to clean drinking water. This is not an issue we can compromise on. Reduced funding for clean water is a bad idea. We need a $600M investment in clean water infrastructure--nothing less.
We look forward to continuing to work together on advancing important environmental bills and keeping our water safe while continuing to set the highest standards for protecting the public health and the environment for all New Yorkers! Thank you for being a champion for us!
Thank you @NYSAWWA for honoring me with a Legislative Leadership Award this morning. Protecting our waterways and investing in our water distribution systems is of the utmost importance, and I won’t stop fighting until all NYers enjoy access to clean water.
Governor Hochul signed the #LeadPipeRighttoKnowAct and included our industry's concerns in the proposed chapter amendments. NY is once again leading the way in public health protection of our drinking water! We are proud to be your voice in NY! https://t.co/4jJqK41QkI
