From @NYSSMAPresident: We recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has closed our schools. The feasibility of rescheduling 150 festivals is no longer possible. Sadly, we must cancel all Solo and Majors festivals for 2020.

We are investigating options for 2020 All-State auditions.

NYSSMA has been carefully monitoring the global COVID-19 outbreak. As of today, ALL nyssma festivals around the state are suspended until further notice.

Voorheesville’s NYSSMA solo festival for April 3-4 is currently suspended pending further information. NYSSMA is working to consider options that may be possible when the time is appropriate.
