I am writing to appeal the action taken on my Discord account because my account was compromised yesterday through a fake verification process.

Yesterday, I joined a Discord server. The server asked me to verify my account, so I clicked the verification option and authorized what appeared to be the official Security Bot. The bot looked like a proper clone of the real Security Bot, so I believed it was genuine, but it turned out to be fake.
I am also attaching a screenshot of the Security Bot embed that I clicked “Verify” on. After clicking it, the bot asked me to prove that I was not a robot and then redirected me to a link which asked me to authorise

After this, the attackers gained access to my account and started sending extremely offensive and false messages from my profile that violate Discord’s Terms of Service. These messages were not sent by me.
As soon as I realized that someone else was using my account and sending those fake messages, I tried to delete them immediately. After that, I removed all authorized apps from my Discord account and changed my password.
Once I did that, the hacker lost access to my account. However, after a few minutes, my account got suspended.

I received an email from Discord saying that action has been taken on my account, and I have attached a screenshot of that email as well for reference.
I also submitted a request on the Discord Support website yesterday explaining everything, but I received a response from Clyde, Discord’s bot, asking me to appeal directly from within my Discord account by going to:
User Settings > My Account > Standing > select the violation > “Let us know”

However, it has now been more than 24 hours since my account was suspended, and I still haven’t received any response from Discord Support.

My Discord account is very important to me because I am a gaming YouTuber with 1.2 million subscribers, and I also manage a verified Discord server with an 11K-member community.
