The APR Karate Team and the RDF Special Forces Karate Team joined other different clubs affiliated with the Rwanda Karate Federation (FERWAKA) men and women in the 2026 Genocide Memorial Karate Tournament held in Karongi District.

The one-day competition organised by the Rwanda Federation Karate brought together karate clubs from across the country to honor and pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Ikipe ya Karate ya APR n’Ikipe ya Karate y’Ingabo zidasanzwe  (RDF Special Forces) bifatanyije n’andi makipe atandukanye abarizwa mu Ishyirahamwe ry’Umukino wa Karate mu Rwanda (FERWAKA), mu bagabo n’abagore, mu Irushanwa rya Karate ryo Kwibuka Jenoside yakorewe Abatutsi mu 1994, ryabereye mu Karere ka Karongi.

Iri rushanwa ry’umunsi umwe ryateguwe na FERWAKA ryahuje amakipe ya karate aturutse hirya no hino mu gihugu mu rwego rwo kuzirikana no guha icyubahiro abazize Jenoside yakorewe Abatutsi mu 1994. Ryabaye kandi umwanya wo gukomeza kwimakaza amahoro, ubumwe n’ubwiyunge binyuze muri siporo.
