@TinglyJungle I don't think Slippi is going anywhere if they haven't targeted it yet and having an accessible way to play on modern hardware is gonna get casuals interested in playing. Also NSO lets you choose between NTSC and PAL for every game so that's not gonna be a problem either.
@crsodif @dr_Savage84@alex_prompter I think AI tools can be useful for filmmakers but I don't think it's feasible for it to generate entire movies or replace animators and voice actors when even a simple scene looks and sounds uncanny. It isn't anywhere close to generating more than a basic 1 minute scene.
@dr_Savage84@alex_prompter AI sucks as soon as you try to do anything more complicated than this, it has no spatial awareness between shots, can't remember character details, and breaks as soon as the characters do anything more complicated than standing still and talking.
@megapig9001@PopejoyWriter Mario and Peachs romance gets paid off with a few cute moments, Mario goes back to hating Bowser the very next scene, Bowser goes back to hating Mario, and none of these payoffs amount to much of anything.
@Press_X_Fool@HamDANeigt@PKNess1XXX@Calarie10@Wario64 Discs are too slow for most modern games. The PS5 and Series X install games from the disc to the system memory. So really the 2 options are slower storage that installs to the system or faster storage that plays directly from the cartridge
@ThePhantom_4@StefanSoan@TwilCynder@imESAM If the connection is otherwise consistent and then a very distinct slowdown happens on the kill screen (it looks different than the game lag spiking) then you know it's the mod.
@StarTechEnter@mariotwtconfess I don't like the emphasis on puzzle solving and exploration. Wonder especially feels like it's designed around taking things slowly and I hate that unlocking the most interesting levels requires you to do busy work.
@NintyPrime From what I understand, the Switch 1s architecture was also more familiar to people since it was using the tegra x1 which was already being used in the Nvidia shield.
