A couple of things for @JamieBrysonCPNI@JimAllister@mooreholmes24 to ponder about the "NIP Demonstration" in Enniskillen last night.
I'm from Fermanagh.
There are a lot of Orangemen in Fermanagh. Almost every single one of them stayed away last night. This is important..

The government doesn't care.
Planning regulations could be updated requiring all new or renovated commercial and government buildings be fitted with solar PV and Water Heating. This would transform solar power capacity overnight. They choose not to.
Oil company lobbying. Innit?
Madness. Putting solar panels over car parks, as is required in France, makes every kind of sense. It generates clean power, provides shade to the cars, and protects countryside from solar farms. But the Government has inexplicably rejected it.

@tim_brannigan "If someone says it’s raining and another person says it’s dry, it’s not your job to quote them both. It’s your job to look out the fucking window and find out which is true"- Jonathan Foster on journalism
Most so called "journalists" today are glorified courtiers.
@fionnuala1nimhu@williamcrawley@Planet_Belfast No. Open Democracy has an article about how Sir Jeffrey Donaldson threatened them through the courts here for a number of years, as it was easier to do it here than in GB. Over an article it wrote about him &his brother's charity.
He had initially threatened them in London.
@davidadams10 Well said David. Sunny Jim will use any opportunity he can to find a scapegoat for the political dead end and the consequences of that, that he and the other leaders of Unionism marched their people down when they backed Brexit.
Shameless. But wholly unsurprising.
Mike Johnson: “If we lose the midterms, the Democrats will go after the president’s family, the cabinet, his donors, friends, and the rest of you who have committed crimes.”
@PissedOffWekka@BladeoftheS Hundreds of thousands less than the tonnage of coal required to produce the same amount of energy it wouldn't generate if it didn't exist.
Noone is saying these are carbon free to produce, but they lead us to a cumulative carbon negative over their lifetime..
@ErinMcGreehan@Independent_ie "The Republican Party" my hope..
FF are the party of selfish self interest and this article only proves it. A genuine united Ireland party would bend over backwards to attain Irish unity. FF more interested in keeping their party on partitionist life support.
@MrRCain2 We tend to forget that most people are the Choyaas of this world. Normal decent people with normal decent opinions. Many are afraid to put their heads up above the parapet, lest they be Lundy'ed.
But Choyaa isn't deterred by the trolls and is a useful reminder to the rest of us.
@MrRCain2 Choyaa is just a normal human being. He's the epitome of the many Fermanagh Orangemen I grew up amongst/spoke about in the past. Ordinary, decent country people with a different opinion to me on some things.
We've just become used to the empty vessels shouting on SM.
Tony Blair has become a brilliant indicator on any given issue. If he supports it, it's guaranteed to be totally and utterly morally reprehensible. He's Schrödinger's cunt.
@implausibleblog This framing is gaslighting people.
The EU did not punish Britain. The EU enforced the rules that Britain helped write up and which Britain enthusiastically & vigorously enforced on 3rd nations.
The UK became a 3rd nation when they voted to leave. Subject to their own old rules
If this is true, and McBride obviously believes it is, Paisley is despicable by sitting on it. I think this is McBride's way of calling him out over it. And rightly so.
And you thought he couldn't sink any lower than advocating for murderous regimes.
Shut @duponline down.
Exclusive | Three years before Jeffrey Donaldson was arrested, DUP MP Ian Paisley said he had spoken to a “victim” of Donaldson and tried to use that information for political ends, the Belfast Telegraph can reveal.
✍️ @SJAMcBride
Fair play to Choyaa here.
The amount of people in political & media circles now coming out claiming none of this is a surprise is disgusting. They were happy to sit on this information as long as they kept cherished access. The DUP are shameless.
A pox on all their houses..
Jim Wells had 4 years since leaving the DUP to flag the issues he claims to have known about regarding Donaldson’s immorality & lies. Instead, he spent that time griping about his own deselection. A damning indictment for him & others who opted to conceal these stories until now.

See Shéamus o' Domhnach Daoi is calling for every Orange Lodge to descend upon Portadown for Drumcree Sunday. I hope they do.
Unionism is doing a grand job atm of turning away all the undecideds & very small u Unionists. Another couple of days of rioting pushes more away.
