I'm aware of the language, and it still applies to Jesus and His many other titles. They teach us truth.

"Prince of Peace" He is referred to in Isaiah 9:6, and many believe "the angel of the Lord" was Him too. This does not violate the fact He is the second person of the Most Holy Trinity, that He is God.

Hosea 11:1, "When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son."

Matthew 2:15, "and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet, “Out of Egypt I have called my son.

"Out of Egypt I have called my son", who is the son in question? Israel is the person evidently in the two texts, Jesus we can conclude is Israel as the early Christians viewed it.

Christ is Israel, therefore His Church is. As St Paul states "they are not all Israel, which are of Israel", one is by lineage the other by adoption into the Church, the Body. We are also of the seed of Abraham "And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise." I already provided the verse that relates Christ to Israel as true Israel.
