When I joined the space a year ago, one of the most persistent advice I got was to pick a niche.

Then, I felt like I didn’t need to pick a niche yet, because I’m new here and I didn’t even really know what was going on.

That was my first mistake…

-“Muneerah, what do you do?”

-“I’m into web3”

-“wow that’s good, what do you do on there”

-A little bit of everything fr”.

That’s how typical conservations would go.

I had no idea what I was doing, no direction at all.

While everyone else was building something, I was running around in circles.

I didn’t have anything to show for all the months I’ve been on the space.

If anyone one asked, I’d say I was a newbie.

Girl pleasee, you’ve been a newbie for nine months, step down for other newbies.

This meant that I couldn’t apply for most jobs, didn’t have a true presence on here,(which worsened my impostor syndrome).

Early this year, I decided that had to change.

I started learning a skill, then I learnt another in that same field. (Ghostwriting and copywriting)

I’ll tell you for a fact, that simple decision has been a game changer.

I finally found my purpose on here, the feeling of being lost in the middle of something big disappeared fast!

So yes, you should pick a niche
